FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Where can I download this?
--This can be downloaded, I will be providing a download link very soon also you can check my facebook page. http:www.facebook.com/djdarkintensity
2. Why are certain songs not in here, and why the hell is that artis I hate in here?
--This is all based on the Top 25 songs of Billboard's 2010 year-end list in the Hot 100 category. The complete list is here: http://www.billboard.com/#/charts-year-end/hot-100-songs?year=2010
3. Why is a 2009 track in this group? Why isn't that popular song from towards the end of the year in here?
--Billboard calculates the results and publishes them right before New Year's Day, so the cutoff date has been set to Dec 1st, that way they have enough time to make accurate calculations.
4. How long did this take you?
--This took roughly about 1 week, collecting acapellas, re-pitching, doing proper time stretches and beat matching.
5. What software did you use?
--FL Studio 9 [Producer Edition]. Ozone, and Adobe Audition.
6. How did you get the vocals without the instruments?
--Most can be found in the internet by searching a song as an acapella, but usually I make my own, using Adobe Audition (the Center Channel Extractor effect) for vocal isolation, combined with noise cancellation filters. This reduces the volume of instruments that are to the left or right in your stereo, and preserves the sound that's in the center. Another method is by using Instrumentals. Check out my video tutorial "Acapellas Made Easy" for more details on this technique. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8rIfWlaOqU
7. Who sings what part? Did you use that one artist in this mix?
--Theres a bit from every song in the list, some have more used than others depending on how much I can fit "musically".
8. How do I make mashups?
--You need to know some music theory and with the proper tools its much easier! Get Fruity Loops, or Ableton Live, and search for tutorials on the web. You need to be familiar with key and tempo, so that the music parts harmonize and fit rythmically. If you are a tech guru, this will be easier for you.
9. Can I repost this video?
--PLEASE, NO , thanks for the offer! You can use the music for your own personal pleasure but do not re-upload.
