Naruto Shippuuden - Lovers [Opening 9]

This is one of my newest favorite openings on Naruto :D I really wanted to make a cover for this, and after listening to it over and over again, it finally got stuck in my head...

So I played around with the melody on the piano, trying to figure out the chords. I got most of the chords but I was missing some, so I searched for sheet music, and found one from Josh's website. The sheet music actually had several incorrect chords but it gave me a better direction and structure of the song itself, which is why I had to use the sheet music as a guide even though about 90% of the arrangement was completely on my own.

Also, I was contemplating how I was going to play the opening. The beginning drum intro is important in my opinion, and it would seem incomplete without it. But the sound of a drum hardly has a pitch so it would be rather impossible to convert it to piano notes without butchering the sound of the music. Therefore, I decided to take on a very different and random route.... :D Don't you just love my air drum playing?! :D :D :D

I had a lottttt of fun arranging this one! Naruto really has some great original soundtracks, and it's been a long while since I've done an OST more recent.

Unfortunately for me, I have stopped watching Naruto about two years ago. Sometimes I really regret that decision because I wanted to watch it to the end, but life got busy. :(
